SPIRIT WEEK: September 22-26

Monday: Twin Day "The Mustangs will be Seeing Double"

Tuesday: Cowboys and Indians "Pups are Going to Wrangle up Some Mustangs"

Wednesday: Pirate Day "Pups Keep Calm and Say Arrrrggg!"

Thursday: Superhero Day "Not Even a Superhero Can Save the Mustangs"

Friday: Black Out Day

  • No tights! (Fingertip length shorts over tights are ok.)
  • No brief type underwear over pants!
  • Slippers are acceptable.
  • All clothing must have appropriate language, design, gesture and message.
  • All shorts, skirt, etc. hem lines no shorter than fingertip length.
  • Tank tops with 3 finger strap width are acceptable – no enlarged arm holes. No spaghetti straps.
  • No midriff showing. Tube top, halter or off the shoulder or sheer (see through) tops are not allowed. Outfit must have a back
  • No “cross dressing”.
  • Sunglasses, hats or other headgear may be worn, but NOT in classrooms or dining hall.
  • Dress up accessories that are distractive and can be used as weapons – play sword, play gun, etc. are NOT acceptable.
  • Bottom attire (pants, shorts, skirts, etc.) must be worn properly. 

Homecoming Dance!

The HCMS Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, September 27th at 7:30 pm in the middle school gym.


Girls' dresses should NOT be low-cut in the front or back; appropriate strapless dresses are allowed. The waistline area should not be exposed. Dress length should be between fingertip and knee length, not floor-length.

Hart County Middle School is a School Wide Title 1 School.  We follow all guidelines as required by the Federal Title 1 Requirements. Friday Detention
